The Coronavirus Pandemic Continues to Affect Sellers Daily. Don’t let that be you!

Hope everyone is staying safe out there, crazy times right now!

In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, Amazon brands have been met with tons of new challenges affecting the success of their businesses.

According to our friends over at Helium10, negative seller feedback has more than doubled since the pandemic started more negative, slower ship times, more time to complain.

Seller feedback, although less visible than customer reviews, still has a large impact on your success as an Amazon seller because it is one of the deciding factors for the buy box, Amazon’s A9 algorithm, and access to certain Amazon programs. You can also get your listings suspended, sales tank to 0, if you get too much negative seller feedback.

If you have seen an increase in negative seller feedback what should you do? We recommend you dispute feedback that is not TRUE seller feedback. Seller feedback is meant to judge the seller, not the product so you are able to dispute the feedback if it fits the following criteria:

  • Feedback on the product. For example, if a customer leaves feedback saying there was a sizing issue or that the product was not what they were expecting, you are able to dispute that since this is not an area for a customer review.
  • Feedback on FBA ship times. For example, if your products are fully Prime and Amazon is handling all shipments, then shipping feedback does not reflect you as a seller and therefore can be disputed.
  • Feedback includes obscene language. This is pretty self-explanatory but if someone is cursing in the feedback, go ahead and dispute it!
